NASA flys two 8th graders to Johnson Space Center
NASA has invited two TRMMS 8th graders to Johnson Space Center to share their research with NASA scientists after their impressive video conference performance. 8th graders Dan Cohen and Nate Trojian will be flying to the Johnson Space Center in Houston to their ideas with NASA scientists concerning thier "Thermal Energy—Stirling Engine" project.
The students on the Thermal Energy - Stirling Engine project have built their own working device and conducted experiments which explain how the device would work in space using the difference between the heat of the sun and the cold of space to drive the engine!
