2010 National Teachers Council for Mathematics

Christie Hazen, Enrichment Coordinator, and Les Lebatique, 6^th grade math teacher,  applied to attend the 2010 National Teachers Council for Mathematics. Since we are a NASA Explorer School, NASA chose their application and invited Ms Hazen and Mr. Lebatique (all expenses paid) to attend the NCTM in San Diego , California  this April 21^st -24^th.

They are excited to learn new and exciting ways to challenge the  students in the teaching and application of math concepts. Since we are a Science and Technology magnet school, we are especially interested in the new technology programs for students in mathematics.
