LEGO LEAGUE CHALLENGE!

Twenty students from Two Rivers have been working during Extended day since September to problem-solve answers to the First Lego League's 2005 challenge entitled, Ocean Odyssey. The group comprised of seventh and eighth graders, participated in 2 local tournaments that earned them an entrance  ticket to the State competition held on December 11, 2005 at Central CT State University. The group members shown here won the  "Creative Presentation" award at the Vernon Local tournament on December 3, 2005. The team presented their research on pipelines in the ocean; how they affect the environment and their solutions for non-intrusive repair.
