
General Professional Development Classes - These classes may include some on-line courses but for the most part require attendance. The fees are minimal. Topics are varied and not limited to technology. CEU's are automatically offered.
Why Take an on-line Course?
There are several advantages to taking on-line courses. The most obvious is that you can usually work at your own pace and in your own time frame. Most on-line courses allow you to redo, review, and reread your work as needed. You can work on the course anywhere you can access the Internet. Most on-line courses are non-threatening.
Who Should consider taking an on-line course?
If you want to learn more about technology, but just aren't able to find the the during the normal work day or year on-line courses might be a good solution. On-line courses require a certain amount of self discipline and motivation and a good sense of organization never hurts.
How are On-line tutorials different from on-line courses?
Although the terms are interchangeable, online tutorials generally have no teacher for you to consult. However, the Two Rivers tech team is always available to assist with on-line tutorials. Sometimes online courses are more like tutorials, again, we are here to help you!

If you would like to take a course that does not automatically grant CEU's see Nina and we can most likely make arrangements for CEU's to be awarded.
